Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing baby William Otto at just 12 days new! Born at HCA North Florida Hospital, William entered the world weighing 9 lbs 15 oz and measuring 22 inches long. This sweet and squishy baby was surprisingly alert during his session, blessing us with many open-eyed images and even a few charming smiles.

**A Woodland-Inspired Newborn Session**

William’s nursery is beautifully themed around woodland creatures, and we wanted to bring that vision to life in his newborn session. We carefully curated props and backdrops to complement this theme while ensuring a warm and cozy aesthetic.

**The Perfect Setup for Baby William**

For the first set, we placed William on an elegant olive green backdrop from Manly and Pretty Things, which complemented the earthy tones of his woodland nursery. His delicate features and expressive eyes stood out beautifully against the rich, natural hues.

**Fox-Inspired Look**

In keeping with the woodland theme, we wrapped baby William snugly and styled him with an adorable fox bonnet and a matching fox lovey, both from Newborn Studio Props. The soft textures and warm tones made for a heartwarming and cozy composition, bringing the woodland theme to life.

**Classic White Elegance**

For a second setup, we opted for a timeless and delicate aesthetic. In a darling wood bed from The Original Photoblocks Props. William was wrapped in a soft white swaddle from Red Owl Props and paired with an enchanting white bear bonnet and a Baxter bear from Heartstrings by Susi. To further enhance the woodland feel, we also included a sloth lovey, adding an extra touch of charm and warmth to the setup.

Finally, we added a felted lovey from Kinga Malisz Km Studio. The intricate details of this delicate piece added a heartfelt, artisanal touch, making the final images even more special. The neutral tones gave the images a dreamy and serene feel, allowing his sweet expressions to shine through.

We also created a white backdrop setup, perfect for capturing personality portraits, mugshots, or even passport photos for baby William. One of the cutest moments from this session was his adorable tongue-out picture, which quickly became a favorite!
